What data we collect and why
Purchase and account data
When you purchase the book, we collect your email address via Stripe’s secure checkout. We use this to:
- Create a personal account so you can re-access your download at any time
- Send you a download link for your purchased file
- Send occasional updates about the book or related publications (you may unsubscribe at any time)
Legal basis: Contract performance and legitimate interest.
Payment data
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details on this site. Stripe acts as a data processor under GDPR. We retain a record of your purchase (email address, product purchased, date) for accounting and legal compliance purposes.
Analytics data
We use Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors use this site — pages visited, time on site, general location (country level), and device type. This data is anonymised and aggregated. No personally identifiable information is shared with Google Analytics.
Legal basis: Consent — you will be asked to accept analytics cookies via our cookie consent banner before any tracking takes place.
